According to the California Highway Patrol, a woman from Hollister was fatally wounded as a result of an accident that happened early Monday.
The reports published by the CHP show that the 25-year-old was unfortunately killed after the 1995 Honda Civic she was driving veered off its lance while traveling on Highway 152 and into oncoming traffic. The vehicle drove into the westbound lanes and ended up being hit by a 1997 Nissan Sentra. A vehicle following right behind the Nissan also crashed into the Honda. The Honda driver was ejected as a result of the impact and ended up dying while the Nissan driver was rushed to the hospital with major injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
