Volvo Truck Models Recalled Over Possible Fire Risk

Volvo Trucks North America has recently issued a recall for several trucks over a possible fire risk.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that multiple trucks are being recalled after it was noted that the MFM Type 24 J-series piston parking braking chamber these vehicles are equipped with could experience a leak of pressure, increasing the risk associated with having the brake dragging instead of being released. The company has stated this issue could eventually lead to a fire because the dragging of the components may cause the parts to overheat.

The federal agency has stated that these vehicles should be fully repaired for free at authorized dealers. You can read the full recall report by following this link.
