Two Pit Bulls Responsible For Four Attacks

According to several news agencies, the authorities have been scouring the Nassau County for two dogs that were responsible for four different attacks that, unfortunately, resulted in injuries.

Reports show that on Wednesday, two dogs attacked four people within a period of half an hour.

Authorities revealed that the first attack happened at 6:30 in the afternoon and it involved a 16-year-old boy who was walking on Parkside Road. The dogs attacked him at the intersection at Cedar Road. Officers say the boy sustained serious injuries to his left arm.

The second accident happened about 10 minutes later and it involved a 54-year-old woman who was walking on Pinebrook Avenue and Parkside Road. She also sustained injuries on her left arm. The third victim, a 24-year-old, was walking on Tyler Road and Pinebrook Avenue when the dogs attacked her unexpectedly. The woman sustained serious injuries to her leg as a result. The final victim was a 29-year-old who was walking on Clinton Avenue when the dogs attacked her and caused serious injuries to her arms, left shoulder and face. The authorities are now looking for the dogs and asking local residents for any information they could use to find the animals.
