A crash was reportedly responsible for the entrapment of two people last Saturday morning, multiple reports indicate.
Reports issued by the California Highway Patrol indicated that a man and a woman were sent to the hospital after their vehicle crashed into a concrete barrier off Highway 101.
The accident occurred when the VW Golf vehicle veered off the road, continued onto the right-hand shoulder of the highway where it crashed into the concrete barrier off a rock embankment near the Sir Francis Drake Boulevard on-ramp. The vehicle sustained damage. The wreckage kept the occupants trapped until authorities arrived at the scene.
The man sustained major injuries while the woman sustained moderate injuries. The factors behind the accident have not been disclosed as of yet.
