Believe it or not, Toyota has launched two other recalls. The difference is that the latest campaigns also impact Lexus vehicles.
According to the company, over 11,800 2018 Camry sedans are being recalled because he fuel pipes and hoses present in the engine compartment may not be properly connected. As a result, fuel may leak. And in the presence of an ignition source, that could lead to a fire.
The second recall impacts 9,900 2015 through 2018 Lexus RC F, 2016 through 2018 Lexus GS F, and 2018 Lexus LC 500 cars.
These units come with high-pressure fuel pump covers that could suddenly become damaged with time. Since this could lead to a leak as well, there might be a fire.
Consumers with the recalled vehicles will have their vehicles inspected and then fully repaired for free at dealers. But they will only be contacted by April. So if you’re impacted by the recall and the company does not contact you then, do not hesitate to reach out to Toyota to learn about what you should be doing to avoid accidents.
We hope that consumers answer to this recall promptly as the issues may lead to serious fiery incidents.
