Tesla SUVs Recalled Over Unsafe Third Row Seats

Tesla may be one of the most famous electric car maker in America, but even its increasing popularity wasn’t enough to prevent them from releasing vehicles with equipment defects.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Tesla has recalled thousands of Model X vehicles of the 2016 year make that have been fitted with third row seat backs that could move forward when under load in the event of a frontal collision.

If that occurs, occupants impacted by the sudden move forward may experience injuries that could even end up becoming serious. If that’s the case, the company could be held liable for injuries in the event of a frontal collision.

Consumers who are concerned about this recall and who own a Tesla Model X manufactured between September 2015 and March 2016 are being urged to contact Tesla back as soon as they receive a recall announcement in the mail. Consumers with the recalled vehicles should be receiving the recall notices in the mail shortly.
