According to a series of news agencies, a teen driving safety program was held by several high schools during the past week.
The reports show that this program was developed to teach teens just how dangerous certain real-world driving situations can be and how they can avoid being involved in accidents by having their skills tested while behind the wheel with the help of safety and traffic instructors.
The event allowed teen drivers to get behind the wheel of vehicles to have safety instructors testing them for vehicle handling, safe driving, distracting driving and impaired driving.
Ford Motor Company has developed the program along the Governor’s Highway Safety Association.
