Suzuki Recalls Vehicle Over Possible Fire Risk

According to several news agencies, American Suzuki has issued a recall announcement regarding all units of the 2007 XL-7 vehicles over a possible issue with the vehicle’s plastic supply port, which is a component in the fuel pump.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that these vehicles were equipped with supply or return ports that could eventually crack, which could then lead to a fuel leak.

The recall announcement affects car owners in California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas. To prevent an eventual fire, the company American Suzuki has decided to issue this recall statement through the federal agency’s website promptly.

The company has stated that the company is notifying owners affected by this recall and that all defective components will be replaced for free. Hopefully, the car maker will be able to repair this issue. Too often, accidents related to recalled vehicles that were equipped with defective parts are reported before the manufacturer issues any recall announcements. If you own a 2007 XL-7 vehicle, do not hesitate and contact the manufacturer as soon as possible.
