A rollover crash that happened in Rock County has claimed the life of a Janesville man, reports show.
According to the news agencies covering this accident, a 30-year-old was a passenger in a 2007 Ford F-350 truck that was traveling on the eastbound lanes of the Highway 14 when the driver accelerated while the vehicle made its way onto the ramp that connects the I-39 and the 14. The authorities reported that the driver accelerated while traveling on the ramp, which led to a loss of tire traction due to the wet pavement, causing the motorist to lose control of the vehicle.
The truck ended up rolling over twice before it went through a fence and rested on its tires in a ditch.
The passenger was ejected as a result of the impact while three other occupants suffered injuries, the passenger who was ejected sustained deadly injuries.
Three occupants of the truck were not wearing their seat belts in the event of the accident.
