NHTSA Recalls Predator, Panther And Other Models Of Emeregency Vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has indicated that all units of 2010 and 2011 ARFF, 2009 through 2013 Predator, Predator SS, Panther, and 2010 through 2013 Panther II emergency vehicles were recalled.

The company Kovatch Mobile Equipment Corp. has decided to issue this recall after it was noted that the grease fitting in the steering column in these vehicles could get caught while the vehicle is in use, which could cause then tear the cover, increasing the risk of a potential loss of steering control.

To prevent a potential accident, the company decided to issue this recall promptly. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that the grease fitting in these vehicles will be removed for free in order to prevent an accident.
