New York-Style Nova Lox Recalled Over Listeria Contamination

Several news agencies have reported that one lot of 4oz units of New York-Style Nova Lox could pose a health threat consumers.

According to the latest release issued by the Food and Drug Administration, Spence & Co Ltd decided to issue a recall for certain lox packages after it was discovered that the product may have been linked to illnesses associated with Listeria monocytogenes. According to the federal agency, 1,563 packs of these items are affected by this recall. The product has been sold across the nation and consumers are being urged to return the lox to the place of purchase for a full refund as soon as possible.
