LG Electric Rangers Recalled, CPSC Reports

Several news articles have revealed that 161,000 units of LG Electric Ranges are being recalled over a possible fire hazard that could cause burns in users.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has revealed in a recent publication that the electric ranges sold nationwide between January 2006 and June of 2010 may fail to to turn off. If the user switches the product off and it doesn’t stop running, the temperature may increase, which could increase a burn or even fire risk.

The products may be identified by the following affected model numbers: LRE30453, LRE30451, LRE30955ST, LRE30755 and LRE30757.

Consumers with these products in their possession should contact the manufacturer at once to have this issue repaired at once.
