Gulf Stream Coach Recalls Vehicles Over Overheating Concerns

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that Gulf Stream Coach has issued a recall for multiple units of 2001 Ultra, Independence, Conquest, Yellowstone, Ultra Supreme, and Cavalier motorhome models over a possible issue that could pose an overheating risk to users.

The federal agency has stated that the vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between May 17, 2000 and December 31, 2000. The recalled models could overheat because a portion of the electrical wiring may have not been secured in a proper fashion, increasing the risk that could lead to a heat development between the tire and the refrigerator coils.

These vehicles could experience a fire that could ultimately pose an injury or property damage risk to drivers and passengers.

The company will fix any affected vehicles for free if needed, the NHTSA has reported. You can read more about this recall by following this link.
