GM Recalls Cadillac XTS Vehicles

Another recall has been issued by GM, reports show.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, General Motors has issued a recall for all units of the 2013 model of Cadillac XTS over a possible with the vehicle’s head restraints.

The reports show that the vehicles manufactured between October 12, 2011 and August 30, 2012 have unfortunately failed to comply with federal standards. The rear seat head restraints may fail to lock after being folded forward. If the device doesn’t lock in the upright position and it falls forward, the risk of injury in an accident increases.

GM has stated that these vehicles will be repaired for free in the future. Car owners with the recalled vehicles may contact the manufacturer as soon as possible to have the defective parts replaced for free.
