The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has reported that Urban Shredder Ride-On toys have been recalled over a possible fall hazard.
About 17 consumers reported being involved in incidents linked to the product due to an unintended acceleration that caused them to lose control of the toy. The battery-operated toy is a Hot Wheels brand product. Affected models include the number 8801-15, 8801-05, and 8801-05com. These toys come in red and black or green and black.
Affected products were sold at Target, Amazon, Toys R Us and Walmart. Dynacraft has urged consumers to ensure the affected toys are returned to the place of purchase immediately. Although no injuries were linked to the incident reports, the company decided to issue this recall promptly to prevent any potential injuries in the future.
