CPSC Recalls Infant Socks Over Choking Hazard

Multiple news agencies have indicated recently that the Consumer Product Safety Commission has reported that certain infant socks are being recalled over a potential for posing a choking hazard.

Classic Characters issued this recall after it was noted that the infant socks that come with stitched face and feet could pose a risk because the items could come detached, making it easy for the child to attempt to swallow the components. If that occurs, the child could end up choking.

No incidents associated with these socks have been reported so far. For the full report and more details on this recall, click here.
