Coach Buses Recalled By Prevost Over Possible Fire Risk

Multiple news agencies have reported that Prevost has issued a recall announcement regarding all units of the 2011 and 2012 X3-45 coach buses over a possible injury risk.

According to the official reports, these buses were equipped with Automatic Fire Detection and Suppression Systems with pressure relief valves in the storage tanks that may release the contents due to a high temperature.

Since the system is located inside of the engine compartment, high temperatures may trigger the release of AFSS contents, posing a fire risk to drivers.

To prevent injuries and other incident risks, this recall was issued.
