California Is A Dangerous Place For Pedestrians

California continues to be a dangerous place for pedestrians

that’s because drivers are often distracted, intoxicated, or are completely oblivious of the risks associated with these activities

Recently, a pedestrian was deadly injured in an accident in Rancho Cordova. The accident caused injuries that prompted the victim to lose his life and a family to lose a loved one.

According to Sacramento’s Sheriff’s Department, authorities received calls from witnesses who had seen the accident take place at the intersection of Paseo Dr. and Folsom Blvd.

According to callers, a man had been injured by one of the vehicles involved in the accident.

The 55-year-old man sustained major injuries and was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene

At this moment, officials from Sacramento are still investigating this car accident and how the pedestrian was involved. While we’re not sure how the accident took place, we hope the victim’s family and loved ones are receiving the attention and support they need in this difficult time of their lives.

Pedestrians often suffer deadly injuries in accidents because they are not protected by a carcass like drivers are. If anything, pedestrians are more vulnerable, and drivers must remember that fact and act accordingly.

We are saddened to learn that this type of accident remains common not only in Sacramento but also everywhere in California. And while we’re unfortunately unsure of how this accident came to be, it’s safe to say that oftentimes drivers are not paying attention to the road as they should either because they are distracted by their phone or by a passenger. Drivers must be serious about their safety by putting focus on the road first.
